Pavement Consulting & Interventory
We conduct thorough inspections and assessments of existing pavements to identify deficiencies, evaluate structural integrity, and determine maintenance needs. Our detailed reports provide clients with actionable insights to optimize pavement performance and minimize lifecycle costs.
Software: NIX+ Pavement System
Developed by NIX ENGINEERING S.A.S, NIX+ Pavement System is a software that allows the analysis of any type of information from auscultation images, from LRMS/LCMS to high resolution cameras (4K).
Pavement Assessment & Evaluation
Our process begins with visual inspections, where we regularly examine pavement surfaces to identify cracks, potholes, and other defects. To assess the structural condition and surface characteristics of the pavement, we employ advanced tools such as laser scanners, GPS, and cameras. Comprehensive data on traffic loads, weather conditions, and maintenance history is gathered to support our analysis. We then evaluate performance indicators, including ride quality, skid resistance, and structural capacity, and analyze the collected data to predict future performance and identify trends.

In terms of maintenance and repair planning, we develop long-term maintenance strategies that address both routine upkeep and major repairs based on the pavement’s condition and usage. We also provide cost estimates for various repair and maintenance approaches. To extend the lifespan of the pavement, we apply surface treatments such as sealcoating or micro surfacing. Regular inspections are scheduled to detect and address issues before they escalate.

When it comes to rehabilitation and reconstruction, we may indicate apply a new layer of asphalt or concrete to enhance the pavement’s performance, or, if the pavement is beyond repair, we recommend a full reconstruction by removing and replacing it entirely.

For implementation and monitoring, our project management involves overseeing contracts with construction and repair firms to ensure compliance and quality.

We enforce strict quality control to meet specified standards and guidelines. Post-intervention, we monitor the effectiveness of repairs and treatments and collect user feedback to address any remaining issues.
Pavement Design & Engineering
Utilizing state of the art technology and industry best practices, we develop customized pavement designs tailored to meet the specific requirements of each project. Whether it's new construction or rehabilitation, our engineering solutions prioritize durability, safety, and sustainability.
Geotechnics & Topography
We use geotechnical data to develop detailed engineering models that inform the design and construction processes. For instance, understanding the soil's load-bearing capacity helps in selecting appropriate foundation types and dimensions. Additionally, geotechnical insights guide decisions on excavation methods, ground improvement techniques, and the management of groundwater during construction.

Topographic data is used to design site layouts, drainage systems, and road alignments. It helps in assessing potential environmental impacts, planning earthworks, and ensuring proper water flow management to prevent issues like erosion or flooding. By integrating topographic information into our planning, we can optimize site use and enhance the efficiency of construction operations.
Construction Engineering Technology
Construction Engineering Technology represents a dynamic integration of engineering principles, technological innovations, and management practices designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of construction projects. This field encompasses a wide range of practices including project planning, design, construction management, and quality control.

The evolution of Construction Engineering Technology has brought about transformative advancements in the way we approach construction. Modern technology tools and methodologies are now seamlessly woven into every phase of construction, from initial design to final completion.

Sustainability is a core focus within Construction Engineering Technology. Technological advancements enable the development of eco-friendly materials, the optimization of energy usage, and the reduction of waste. The adoption of green building technologies, including energy-efficient systems and sustainable construction materials, helps minimize the environmental footprint of construction activities.

In terms of project management, sophisticated software tools play a critical role. These tools assist with planning, scheduling, and resource management, while real-time monitoring and data analysis ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Safety and risk management have also benefited from technological advancements. Modern tools such as drones for site surveillance, wearable technology for monitoring worker health, and advanced safety training simulations enhance safety protocols and risk management practices, contributing to a safer construction environment.

As we continue to integrate these technological advancements into our projects, the role of Construction Engineering Technology in improving project outcomes and operational efficiencies becomes increasingly vital. Embracing these innovations is key to maintaining a competitive edge and delivering high-quality results.
